UltraPlay 3D/VR ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our Android video player application.

🔍 Information We Process

1. Local Media Files

UltraPlay acts purely as a local media player. It indexes video and audio files stored on your device to display them in the app's library and allow playback. This indexing occurs entirely offline.

Important: We do not upload your media files, playback history, private folders, or PIN codes to any external servers. All personal data stays on your device.

2. Data Collected by Third Parties

Our app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Google AdMob: We use AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may use advertising identifiers (like the Android Advertising ID) and cookies to serve personalized ads based on your interests. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting your Android device's Settings > Google > Ads.
OpenSubtitles API: If you use the in-app subtitle search feature, the app queries the OpenSubtitles API with the hash/filename of your video to find matching subtitles.

📱 Permissions Usage

The app requests the following core permissions to function properly:

Permission	Purpose
Read/Write External Storage / Media Audio, Video	To discover, organize, and play your local video and audio files.
Internet & Network State	To play network streams (HLS/DASH/Direct URLs), search for subtitles online, and serve advertisements.
Foreground Service	To allow continuous background playback and provide media controls in the notification drawer when you switch apps.
System Alert Window (Draw over other apps)	To enable Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode and mini-player functionality.
Wake Lock	To prevent the screen from turning off while you are actively watching a video.

🔐 Private Folder & PIN

The Private Folder feature uses a 4-digit PIN to restrict access to videos within the app. Please note that this feature is an app-level privacy measure; the files themselves remain on your device's filesystem. We cannot recover forgotten PINs as they are securely hashed and stored only on your local Room database.

👶 Children's Privacy

UltraPlay 3D/VR does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a visitor under the age of 13, we will delete the information from our records.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected here with an updated revision date.

1. App Usage

The app is provided "as is" and intended solely for playing your legally obtained media files and network streams.
You agree to use the app for lawful purposes only.
You are solely responsible for the media content you choose to play, stream, or manage using UltraPlay.

2. Streaming & Third-Party Content

UltraPlay 3D/VR:

Provides a platform to play media via M3U playlists, Direct URLs, HLS, and DASH formats.
Does not host, provide, or endorse any continuous broadcast media or pirated content.

We are not responsible for:

The legality, availability, or quality of external streams or playlists that you import.
Copyright infringement resulting from your use of the player.
Content provided by the OpenSubtitles API.

3. Health & Safety (3D/VR)

When using 3D Anaglyph or Side-by-Side VR Mode:

Take frequent breaks to avoid eye strain or motion sickness.
Use 3D glasses and VR headsets in a safe, clear environment.
Stop using the feature immediately if you experience dizziness, nausea, or discomfort.

4. Intellectual Property

App design, UI, code, and branding belong exclusively to SoftTech Service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app without strict written permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

SoftTech Service is not liable for:

Data or media loss.
Hardware damage (e.g., screen burn-in or battery wear).
Issues stemming from the use of third-party advertisements.

Use the app at your own discretion.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SOFTTECH SERVICE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
