Kundali Birth Chart Inputs: When you generate a birth chart (Kundali), you may provide a date of birth, time of birth, and birthplace / coordinates. This information is processed directly on your device and saved encrypted locally in your device's private storage. It is never uploaded to any external server or shared with third parties.
Custom Preferences & Settings: Chosen app language (from 9 Indian languages), visual theme (light / dark mode), preferred calendar week start, date & number formats, and saved favourite festivals or bookmarks.
Selected City / Region: Your selected geographical location for sunrise/sunset, tithi transitions, and local Panchang calculations.

Strict On-Device Encryption for Kundali: Your personal birth records and Kundali charts remain exclusively on your device, safeguarded by on-device encryption. You maintain full ownership and control over exporting or deleting your charts at any time.

B. Automatically Collected Information & Device Data

To deliver real-time celestial coordinates, ensure app stability, and serve contextual advertising, the app and our integrated SDKs automatically collect certain standard technical data:

Device Information: Device model, operating system version (Android OS), system language, screen resolution, and hardware architecture.
Network & Connectivity State: Connection status (Wi-Fi, mobile cellular data) to verify whether offline cache or live ephemeris data computation is needed.
Advertising Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (AAID) for ad serving and frequency capping, subject to your Google account settings and consent choices.
Diagnostic & Crash Data: Non-personally identifiable diagnostic logs to identify unexpected crashes, calculation anomalies, or performance slowdowns.

We do NOT collect or store on our servers:

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising (Google AdMob)

To support the free development, continuous maintenance, and ongoing astronomical calculation updates of Hindi Calendar Panchang, the app incorporates third-party advertising services:

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob (Google LLC) to display advertisements (banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded ads) within the application. Google AdMob may collect and process information about your device, including:

Google Advertising ID (AAID)
IP address and general network geographic location
Ad interaction, viewability, and performance metrics
Device identifiers and mobile carrier information

Internet Connectivity Requirement: An internet connection is required for detailed real-time planetary ephemeris recalculations, dynamic astronomical simulations, online regional synchronization, and loading AdMob ad inventory.

5. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Encrypted On-Device Storage: All created Kundali birth charts, personal notes, and favourite festivals are stored in local, sandboxed app storage using strong encryption.
No Central Server Retention: SoftTech Service does not operate centralized database servers that store, profile, or sell your birth data, charts, or personal notes.
Data Removal: Clearing app data or uninstalling the app permanently purges all locally stored Kundali records, preferences, and downloaded caches from your device.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Global Standards)

Hindi Calendar Panchang is intended for general cultural, traditional, and family educational reference. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or process personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions). Festival dates, Vrat observances, and traditional Panchang timings (including Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Choghadiya, Hora, Lagna, and Muhurta) are calculated using traditional mathematical and astronomical models (such as Lahiri / Drik Ganita ephemeris). These timings can naturally vary based on geographical coordinates, city altitude, local sunrise / sunset conventions, and distinct regional traditions (such as Purnimanta vs. Amavasyanta month reckonings).

All Panchang, astrological readings, Kundali birth charts, Muhurta timings, and planetary predictions provided within the application are strictly for cultural, educational, religious, and personal reference purposes only. They do NOT constitute professional astrological, legal, medical, psychiatric, financial, or investment advice. SoftTech Service makes no guarantees regarding the outcome of events planned using Muhurta timings.

2. Permitted Use & User Conduct

You agree to use Hindi Calendar Panchang solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works of the application, calculation engines, or proprietary ephemeris datasets.
You must not scrape, extract, or republish calendar and festival databases in bulk without express written consent from SoftTech Service.
You must not circumvent, disable, or tamper with any advertising systems or security protocols implemented in the app.

3. Network Connection & Third-Party Services

The application relies on internet connectivity to calculate live ephemeris details, synchronize regional festival updates, and serve advertisements via Google AdMob. SoftTech Service is not responsible for mobile carrier data charges, network latency, or failure to fetch data due to connectivity interruptions.

Third-party advertisements displayed in the app are provided by Google AdMob. Any interaction with advertised third-party products, services, or websites is solely between you and the respective third-party advertiser.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SoftTech Service, its founders, developers, and partners shall not be liable for:

Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the application.
Any discrepancy in festival dates, fasts (Vrats), or timing windows due to regional customs or variations in sunrise calculations.
Any decisions, rituals, investments, or travel planned based on Kundali charts, Choghadiya, or Muhurta indicators.
Loss of saved charts or notes caused by device hardware failure, operating system updates, or app uninstallation.

SoftTech Service reserves the right to enhance, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, language pack, calculation module, or aspect of the application at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the application following updates to these Terms signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
